None of the following Mac apps are free, but in my opinion, each is well worth its cost. I have no financial interest in any of the companies behind these apps – I am sharing them simply for the reason that I find them extremely useful in the course of my daily activities.
Things is a beautifully focused and amazingly intuitive task manager. Other todo applications either oversimplify or are too difficult to use. Things instead offers the perfect balance between ease of use and powerful features.
Browser-based interfaces are slow, clumsy, and require you to be connected to the internet just to use them. Browsers are perfect for reading web content, but not so great for creating it.
If you’re serious about your blog, you need a desktop blog editor. If you’re lucky enough to have a Mac, nothing is more powerful or more elegant than MarsEdit.
